Samaritan’s Global Outreach (SGO) was founded in March of 2011 by Donnie and Carol McWaters.  Located in Oneonta, Alabama the ministry has been focused on reaching out to the poor and needy of the world that are in need of a helping hand and a compassionate heart. 

Serving as mission Pastors for many years Donnie and Carol have been involved in missions work within the United States as well as around the world.  After much prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit Donnie and Carol were led to establish SGO with a vision – “To help ALL God’s children find their God given purpose by reaching out with a compassionate heart and a helping hand.”  Much has been accomplished since the creation of this ministry. 

SGO has grown and is more determined than ever to be involved in the lives of those hurting and in search of their purpose.  Meeting the needs of people is the first step in directing them to the purpose God created them for.  Through construction projects, prayer ministry, partnering with churches, mentoring and leading others to a deeper relationship with God we are making a difference.  Many new and exciting ministries are being developed and we are committed to reaching all who need a touch from God.

SGO is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c)3 organization and they are also recognized as a Christian Ministry by the National Association of Christian Ministries.
