Over the past few weeks, we have had three different requests to help provide homes with wheelchair ramps. It is difficult for many handicapped people to do simple tasks, like going to the store, because it is very difficult, if not impossible, for them to get out of their home. SGO is always glad to look at the need and help the handicapped when they need help.

The three ramps that have been built were for various people. One of the ramps was for one of our first responder paramedics who was involved in an auto accident, and was wheelchair-bound for a couple of months. Another ramp was for a little 7 year old girl with health issues that created a problem for her getting in and out of the her home because of the steps. The third ramp was for a man in Marshall County who fell off a roof while working and broke both of his ankles. His recovery will take some time, and he lived in a mobile home with steps.

SGO was blessed to meet and help all these people who were in need. Projects like these, and many more, is what SGO is all about. We desire to share the love of Christ whenever and wherever we have the opportunity.
